Is there such a thing? I bought one but not sure its authenticity. So if authentic, what is a Roush car?

To answer your question, there were a few R-Cobras made. One was even a supercharged version (Only 1 Roush Cobra SC was ever made prior to the Roush Terminators in 03/04). That one happens to be in Dallas right now.

I'd love to see it and hear more about it. We like to keep track of the early cars - and it's getting harder and harder.

Roush Cobras varied by who built it/ordered it. Some were side exit exhaust, the Roush side skirts, rear skirt and Roush wing. Some had the Roush front splitters modified to fit around the round fog lights, full suspension, bigger brakes, 18" wheels and Roush interior (seats/floor mats etc...).

Just moving in a new direction. I do love this car. It's the best Mustang I've ever driven. And that is saying a LOT.

Thanks LR!! I tried to post a picture but the link is broken. How did you post your pics? As for where I got it, it was on CL as I perused it. I saw it and liked the way it drive and bought it not knowing anything about Mustangs.

The pictured Roush Cobra was one of the best documented examples at the time.
The first GEN Roush Cobras were poorly documented and extremely rare when verified.
