Tranny swap on S281 2003

Tranny swap on S281 2003
I have a 2003 S281 and gave it to my son. I need to switch the manual tranny out with an automatic if possible. Anyone know if its not to hard? Son is in college and a lot of hills so he really needs it to be an auto. Thx for any input!
