Yea definitely needs to be tinted. Is it possible to add one of these on a non glassroof car? I saw an 06 for sale that had before and after pictures and it looks like he had it done so I believe it is possible.

yep, its possible to install one
also, the new 2009 mustangs have this option

Definately need to be tinted dark !
I drove one for a weekend in 90 degree weather and it literally cooks you in the car !

do a google search on "glassback roof" and you'll get a whole list of installers

Saleen is doing this in a year as an option but with a power glass roof. There was a thread awhile back about the new power glass roof. Im waiting for it instead of installing this. You can have the glass roof installed for right at $3000 though

For the Saleen one or the CDC version? I thought you had to go to Troy to get the Saleen one. The CDC one isn't as nice.
