I had planned to do mine until I found out my year has the windows riveted to the motor and such. No way to get them off at home I have no tools. My mechanic said he would replace the entire thing...

Also if you've allowed it to run dry Id replace the fuel filter. Picks up all the sediment in the bottom of the tank and can cause running problems.

But for others to help out they need to know the year of the Mustang and the part number of the EGR you purchased...those can help.

I can really only answer the governor question...it must be able to be removed..probably with a tune because Ive been at 125 mph on the highway and had more to go.
