RE: Anyone use this PI swap kit?

They have a kit that claims 65, that seemed reasonable, but could that upgrade kit make 110? And if it did, would it likely be at 6500 rpms or something like that where it's almost unusable on the...

RE: They can't be serious

Someone already bought the 94, and I have since bought a 98. I am just always looking around and came across the 04 in the link for $69,900..... And I thought asking $9K for the 94 was bad.

They can't be serious

Although these are the same tools that tried to sell me a 94 GT Convertible with 75,000 miles on it for $9K, I offered $7300 out the door and they pretty much laughed in my face saying they couldn't...

RE: Need help, losing coolant and my vert is parked one the nicest day of the year

It is definately coolant, it was green and smelled like coolant, and my coolant was low. It was coming out of the AC condenser drain as shown in the pictures from Mark99GT. I have an appointment to...

Just wanted to extend an offer for the quick help and for getting the pictures, but didn't want everyone else to think the offer was for them too :D

Some day, when you do something above and...

I don't know if you saw my last post, I think it got put on the last of page one while you were posting this, and yours went to page two. Check your PM's if you haven't already. Thanks again.

Chit, that's probably not good to have coolant running from it then. I really appreciate you taking those pictures and figuring out what I was talking about. Hopefully someone will come along who...

RE: Need help, losing coolant and my vert is parked one the nicest day of the year

From your pic it looks like it might be where the circular indent is on your firewall, or maybe just below the range of your picture. I know Chevy mechanics and the VW/Audi mechanic, but nobody that...

RE: Need help, losing coolant and my vert is parked one the nicest day of the year

There is nothing there at all except the short hard plastic hose coming from the firewall, I didn't even see a place for another hose, I'll have to look closer. Are they side by side? One on top of...

RE: Need help, losing coolant and my vert is parked one the nicest day of the year

Before it dripped when the defrost was one, but the A/C runs with defrost to dry out the air, right? Maybe not? Anyway, today when I parked it was just pouring out, it really looks like a hose should...

RE: Need help, losing coolant and my vert is parked one the nicest day of the year

Just talking to a guy a work, wouldn'tany coolant lines to the heads be contained all under the hood? What reason would there be to run coolant into the passenger compartment (it's coming from the...

RE: Need help, losing coolant and my vert is parked one the nicest day of the year

Coolant line to the heads or heater hose, you think the hose is missing entirely? It looks like maybe a hose is supposed to be clamped onto what is sticking out. I didn't see any place on the head...

Need help, losing coolant and my vert is parked one the nicest day of the year

On the passenger side of the firewall there is a short piece, maybe 1/2" of hose sticking out just behind the head. I heard it dripping on the exhaust a week or so ago and summized it was the AC...

RE: 98 GT Need to changed rear wheel bearing, still making noise

inner bearing? Isn't there only 1 bearing per wheel? They had to pull the axle to change it. I'll double check the breaks. Any other ideas?

RE: 98 GT Need to changed rear wheel bearing, still making noise

I got the bearing changed, my noise is still there. There is like a rubbing sound coming from the driver side rear. When you jack the car up and spin the tire you can hear it. I have reached all...

RE: question For those guys with convertibles

I have a 98GT Vert, I just have magnaflows welded in. Sounds nice and deep, not real loud inside. Just a little louder than stock, except at about 2300rpm with moderate throttle, it gets just a touch...
