If you're going aftermarket aka "Dorman" thats your problem get a Motorcraft and be done with it. Also make sure you're getting the right actuator, blend door or temperature

I've been dealing with this concerns for a couple years when I was at Nissan and now at Toyota..... Toyota had suspended the recall because their finding where the new inflators were not correcting...

Really 'cause I worked at a Ford dealer and had no issues with throttle bodies. I think the tech is talking out his ass because he has no clue and he's to stupid to use a computer.

Just for preventative maintenance you can do a differential service and replace axle bearings and seal. It's not a big project and decently budget friendly. All you need is a few hours on jack stands.
