RE: Awful Gas Mileage

I get about 16-17mpg these days but I drive in horrible stop and go rush hour traffic. I also have 100lbs of sand in the trunk for the snow. I try not to put my foot in it - I'm usually careful but...

RE: what is the age of the 05-07 mustangs and why did you buy it

I'm 35 and my first Mustang - big fan of original muscle cars so when I got a look at this car I had to have one. I also wanted an inexpensive car for an every day car to keep the miles off my 03...

RE: Help: best place to buy MyColor gauges

It was never standard on any package Premium or Deluxe. Try Y2K Ford in WA. That's where I got mine.

RE: Saying goodbye to Susie ... :(

I'd keep it, that's when Japaneese cars were cool I love the old 240-280 and 300Zs - how well does the Nissan do in the snow? I did it backwards - I use my Mustang as my winter car and my 2003 Monte...

RE: 2006 mustang in rain and snow

In real deep snow you will have a problem. Even with 75lbs of sandbag in the back and TC off I got stuck in an unplowed parking lot. I was slowing down to make a rt turn because it was icy out. If I...

RE: why does this happen?

Yup it's a weight thing. I deactivate my Fiance's passanger air bag when riding in his 05 Saleen - they have very uncomforable firm seats.

RE: Heads up Display 05'-07'

They put them on the older Pontiac Grand Prixs from the 90's and up. I had a 2000 GTP with HUD and it was great. I didn't have to take my eyes off the road for anything. The GP had an option of...

RE: Thoughts on 05-07's

I love the classic muscle car so it was mostly the look because of the retro look and the lines on this car are incredible. I was also a GM person and after I test drove a V-6 Mustang I had to have...

Congrats amystery2u on your cluster upgrade! I too took afixer's advice and took the plunge! I don't use the color change much but I am loving the info center! The MPG mode is totally accurate...

RE: Has anyone noticed

I Think you are talking about the Chrysler 300M and the Dodge Magnum that was the first thing I noticed about those two cars. The sides are quite high and the glass - roofline is very short.

RE: ArmorAll Tire Black

Yes, I think the Meguires Tire Gel works much better than the new Armor all stuff. I have tried both and the Meguires goes on better (it's thicker) and it lasts longer than any product Ive used, oh...

It's got alot of miles on it and it was probably beat to hell. I would be careful about that one.

RE: Keeping the paint new and shiny.

I don't think it would be a good idea to put wax on vinyl. Something like ICE or Zanio is safe but reg wax - I don't think so.

RE: MyColor

Yep, got mine from Ed Olson. My dealer charged $100 labor to install mine - they didn't know what they were doing so they had to call Y2K ford long distance LOL (my dealer is in IL) for help. They...
