If you have a clogged Cat, there will be a definite loss in performance and mpg. The only way to tell is to take them off I think. A decent muffler shop may be able to help you with that.

You will have to increase your horsepower to get the results you want. I added cams, Lts and xpipe with high flow cats to get an extra 31 hp. You won't need a supercharger to get to those numbers.

None of these should cause a problem with the transmission. The camshaft sensor can cause a problem with timing. I would take it back and have them put it on the computer to see if any codes show up...
