RE: Will SLP LM2 pass inspection?

I just checked through the Mass Vehicle Inspection website: http://www.vehicletest.state.ma.us/

Looks like they just check for general safety and emissions.

LM2 is not that loud at idle and...

RE: MGW install

Yeah, super easy. Follow the directions word for word and you'll have no issues.

I tried to take out my MGW shifter to change the tranny fluid. It would not come off at all. That RTV sealant...

RE: Premium fuel

Argh...if your car is tuned for 87, which it is if it's a GT, then you should put 87 octane in it. 93 octane will not burn thoroughly in your engine and will likely ignite in your exhaust pipes. ...

RE: Griggs Suspension

Try Griggs Racing...

Anyway, it's a suspension system that changes the geometry of the car to bring the center of gravity up. They try to explain that the mustang's natural center of gravity is...

Griggs Suspension

Hey, anybody have experience with the Griggs GR40 suspension setup? Looks to be very cool. The physics and geometry changes seem to make sense.

I don't have a problem with the expense of the...

RE: warm up time

Idling is not good for your car either.

Crank it and go...slow.

5w20 is a thin oil and is meant to be run in colder climates. It'll be ok, your engine will not throw a rod or lock up on...

RE: GOT HIT BY A DRUNK DRIVER last night.*pics*

How bad off was the other driver?

Bet she didn't have any injuries close to yours. Somehow it always works out that way.

I can tell you for certain that at the very least she's going to be...

RE: Fuel Filter Write Up

Hahaha, no man, you don't have to get fuel all over you.

If you depressurize the system right you should only have a small amount of fuel remaining inside the filter itself, which will pour out...

RE: ???

Install is easy and VERY straightforward. If you pay someone to do it then you wasted money.

ahem...MGW

And the 3650 is not crap. It handles my daily commute just fine with a little...

RE: twin turbo kit

And don't forget the suspension work to get that new found power to the ground...and a new clutch to handle the power.

But yeah, Turbos are freakin' sweet.

Maybe you could keep the PSI down...

RE: Traction Control

I believe that it does retard the engine timings, that would make sense.

Yeah, the car just feels smoother. How about this...

What if the person who had the car before me (i'm the...

Single link, back to the forums:

Enjoy. Oh, and be sure to pay attention the part regarding control arms if you want better "curve" handling.

RE: 225 HP???

Mine looks exactly the way it should. Maybe Ford decided that your GT's aren't as fast as they initially thought? HAHAHA!

Traction Control

Ok, odd thing. I usually get in the car, turn it on and reach for the traction control button to turn it off before I start moving.

I've noticed a couple of things, though, leaving it on. The...

Throw out bearing

I have noticed a light rattling/chattering noise coming from somewhere under the hood when I put the car and neutral and let up on the clutch. Lately, I've noticed the sound a little bit more...

RE: Can't get into Reverse!!!

Yeah, mine goes into reverse if I just let it roll a little bit...I'm talking like maybe an inch back or forth and reverse goes right in.

No, I don't get ANY sounds coming from my shaker. Your shaker's not beating against the side of the hood opening, is it?

RE: GTvs mach1

From personal experience I can say that Machs don't have very good low end torque. I have a hard time getting off the line and lose to GTs all the time in short drags. But, give me some running...

RE: ATTN: ALL MACH 1 DRIVERS

I did the exact same thing a couple weeks back for my mach. It looks beatiful now but I am worried that it might cause increased fading over time. Also, I've heard other mach owners say that they...

RE: Anyone have the "ford dealership repair manuel"?

The haynes manual is good for routine maintenance and such, but it is also very general. I think mine covers every mustang from 1994-2003 and it's not a very thick book. I wouldn't use it beyond...

RE: Cutting Stainles Steel Exhaust

Stainless steel will be a bitch to cut. I'm not saying it's impossible because nothing is...but if you think it's anywhere close to cutting a stock pipe you're in for a rude awakening.

And how...

RE: Not impressed with new shelby.....

Yeah, car sounds like crap, but they put flows on it.

Throw a DECENT chambered muffler on there or practically any straight-thru and I bet it would blow your house down.

And yes, car looks...

Go with the mach and remove the stripe kit.

Mine came without, and I was desperate to put the graphics on, but I think it looks a lot better without, now.

They all should get similar gas...

RE: My dyno graph for those who are interested.

Hahahaha, took me a few minutes but I got it. I couldn't figure out what the heck your torque and hp curves was doing.

Looks like your engine blew....so to speak [sm=innoc.gif]
