I would recomend finding some wiring diagrams for the starter circuit and go from there if you want to diagnose it successfully :)

I didnt think the fox bodies had relays? Even the wiring diagrams i have do not point to any relays. There are flashers for the hazards and turn signals but they are completely different from relays...

Do the hazzards work? But as suggested above, start looking at wiring diagrams and tracing wires.

Veryuseful.com has some decent wiring diagrams there :)
