RE: 28" tire

I am running a 295/40/20 in the rear (BFG KDW) and Sportlines. I do know that with a2" drop I had to put some sapcers in to get it up another 1" so that it would not rub. So yours should fit fine....

RE: Replacing plugs

I thought these were good for 100K miles? But with the recent news of possibly damaging them... Changing them out may be a good thing after all.

RE: eibach sport line lowering springs

I am running the Sportlines with FRPP Struts and Dampers and Foose Nitrous 20's. Big holes cause issues, but as a daily driver with over 54K miles, I like the ride and the looks as well. No issues...

RE: Is it possible to lose power ?

As stated above... retune and see... I too felt as if something was missing several months after a new tune. Maybe I just got used to it or maybe there is something to that notion that the ECU...

RE: Am I SOL?

Hey Stewart, most likely the sound is a result of the lowering and not damage from the lift. The strut caps are a one time use item. Once removed they should be replaced. I started hearing some...

RE: 20 Inch Wheels, Tires?

I have heard nothing but praise for both the BF Goodrich and Nitto tire lines. I guess it comes down to your personal preference and the cost of the particular line of tires. The BF's do have a...

RE: 20 Inch Wheels, Tires?

I run the Foose Nitrous.

Currently using Falken Beta FK451's. 255/35/20 Front and 285/30/20 Rear.

There is still room for more tire even though I am slammed (Eibach Sportlines) to the...

RE: Where is the IAC restrictor on my 07 4.6?

All it takes is a custom tune to remove this issue. Since we are using an electronic throttle control, it will not do us any good. The IAC restrictor is used in conjunction with a throttle cable,...

RE: Shaker 500 -- worth it vs. system from circuit city or best buy?

If I recall correctly the Shaker 500 adds about $1200.00 to the price of the car. If your working it into the car note then yes it is worth it compared to a $500.00 cash investment. However, I...

RE: QUESTION about loss of HP

Without retuning it will throw codes and possibly not run all. I know that besides compensating for the lack of the plates, there are other configuration points in the tune such as the A/F, timing...

RE: QUESTION about loss of HP

[/quote]
Getting back on thread, since the CMCV is not the throttle body then what does it do? Are there linkages to these butterflies or are they spring loaded and rely on intake vacuum to open? ...

RE: What do you think of this for me ?

I have heard of no issues with the Steeda kit. However, I took a chance with the BBK set. So far so good. No issues and the install was really easy. I chose the BBK over the Steeda due to it...

RE: 8" Subwoofer in stock S-500 Location?

Shapman: A little heating of the enclosure, a small trim job on the nub inside the enclosure and the removal of the cover on the back of the RF 8's is all that is required. Minor mods but major...

RE: 8" Subwoofer in stock S-500 Location?

No cover... just need to be careful when getting in and out.

As for the wiring. The door subs are running off the front left and right leads on the S500. They are crossed at the amps. You can...

RE: Finally got a Dyno for piece of mind...

Originally my first dyno netted me 285 / 310 with the JLT and a good tune. When i ran the Foose Nitrous 20's (15lbs each more than stock) my new dyno showed 275 / 290. So with an additional 30lbs...

RE: Coil on Plugs

Granatelli makes a set you can find for $399.00 (all 8). A much better deal than the Steeda parts totaled.

From what I understand, after running / heating up the staockers are prone to heatsoak...
