You got it...don't look for Mustang knobs because they are metric. You can find some Camaro and Corvette fittments that are 3/8-16 but most custom balls and knobs have adapters to fit about anything....

It's a slip on pre-filter which is normally used to keep water out when driving in rain. Around here it helps in Spring to keep pollen off the filter but I keep it on all the time for dust etc.

The shifter has a 3/8-16 thread. The ball I got was a 2.25" dia show chrome with 1/2-13 threaded hole and 3 inserts, one of which was 3/8-16.

Yeah...don't think I'll be manually shifting very much but I just hated having that piece of factory plastic right there in the big fat middle of everything. It's worth it to me for the looks alone.
