if the headlights turn on, its not the switch that is busted. The dash lights run through the dimmer switch, then to the dash lights. I would suspect the dimmer is at fault if there is power on...

the edelbrock will make more power than the gt40 for sure. thats a real good deal, Id jump on that deal even to put it on the shelf for a later build.

expect a 10-15hp increase for the gt40 heads...

sounds like the fuse went for the heater controls. could also be the power connector going to the heater box. when I removed my heater, I noticed my power plug for it was all melted up.

the injectors are fine, the only difference is the spray style. pintle vs the 4 hole. the 4 hole ones are supposed to have a better spray pattern.
