Yah, apparently my oil is sludgy and since I didn't start it up, it was cool and the oil just kind of stayed inside the filter part of it. Because after I posted on here and did a little research...

RE: Speedo Gear

Yep, your friend got ripped off. Even steeda (http://www.steeda.com/products/speedometer_recalibration_gears.php), who I would say is a bit overpriced, has them for about $16.

RE: conflicting spark plug gap information...

Well, if all of you guys with naturally aspirated 5.0's have it gapped at around .045 and it works fine, I'll just do the same. I was just wondering why so many different sources say so many...

conflicting spark plug gap information...

Ok, I bought some Autolite resistor spark plugs for my 1992 5.0L Mustang. They are not pre-gapped. Now, this isn't an issue, except that Ford says to gap your spark plugs at .044" and autolite's...

RE: Tranny SLIPPING

Sounds like your auto tranny needs rebuilding!!

If it is a stock transmission, I've been told that it's pretty typical for them to start going out at around 150k miles, and even if it hasn't...

RE: airbag warning beeping...

I think I will try unhooking the thing that does the buzzing sound first.

My airbag doesn't work anyhow, that's why it keeps buzzing, disconnecting it would make no difference in an accident,...

RE: Engine removal from trans...HELP PLEASE

I still don't understand what 6 bolts you're talking about connecting the tranny to the driveshaft. At the transmission there ARE NO BOLTS that hold the driveshaft to the transmission. The yoke...
