I guess I am old school I like clear so I can see my level in a second and I am racing with hood shut whos looking at my stock one LOL

 

As a racer, I hear ya. However, as a racer I know the stock tank is marginal at best.

1. It has no provision for fluid expansion if something goes wrong - short of spewing fluid all over motor and the road

2. The stock plastic tank very ugly and shaped like a pill

To all the guys that at concerned about not seeing the fluid levels - If there is fluid under your car than no fluid got out

Coolant does not evap as a general principal so if you checked it every 90 days it would be 3 or 4 times too many over the year.

Its easy to install a sight gauge or even a glass wall for viewing but I bet very few would pay for that option as its just not an important feature or benefit.

If someone wants to place an order for a tank with a sight gauge we are happy to build it
