hey guys i recently ordered a duel black stripe kit for my 2012 red candy V6. any thoughts on that or suggestions for other mods?

Why not? Do what you think will look cool don't worry what others think. I have burnt orange metallic hood spears on my 2016 v6 guard.

I had a guy come to my house and installed my stripes for $175. I ordered the stripes from American Muscle. He does stripes and pin stripes for most of the local car dealers in my area

 

That is the exact model of my V6 with the PP, so most likely mine will turn out like that. I got the stripes in the mail but waiting to get a shop to install them. Seems like you got a good deal!

Shop around for prices on the install. I got quoted $350-$450 just for the labor. Some installers will only use their strips and they cost a lot more than what American Muscle charges. My wife used to work for car dealers and knew this guy and knew he did good work. Through the week he works for car dealers but on the weekend he works for himself and charges less money for his work. Having him coming to my house and installing the stripes was a big plus

 

Here is the final product, really happy with how it turned out. Not sure what else to do to the car, thinking about plasidipping my rims but not sure yet.
