10 years under the tropical sun have started to turn my car pink, added to all the dings and scratches I think I'll repaint it, but honestly if I'm going to spend the money I'd like a different shade of red. I don't like any of the other Ford reds so I was thinking Porsche Guards red, but I haven't seen a Mustang painted that color yet. I want the car to have a more vibrant red without looking orange. Any other color suggestions are welcome. Also, before anyone says anything about the cost, labor is really cheap here and we have some excellent painters so it's going to cost me less than 700 dollars total to have the whole car repainted.

 

Lexus has a really nice red lately.....I think they call it "Infrared"!!

Does polishing the car or waxing it make the color look better?

Mazda has this amazing red out now as well. Pretty damn flashy tho

 

I'm definitely going with the Guards Red. I saw it in person and the photos don't do it justice. As far as polishing, I have done that so many times the primer is showing on a fender. Also, the car has been partially repainted several times due to stupid people who can't park or drive.
