That little turbo I4 2017 is a beast.. I cant wait to get out of the power train warranty and add the ford intake and tune. It will go from 310hp to nearly 400hp and 460ish ftlb of torque. Its the wife's car. My signature says that the 67 is, but its decided that this one is hers.. The classics are mine, to be passed down to the kids/grandkids someday.
Well we've moved to Knoxville TN. That happened 6 years ago and im finally back to doing work on the car.
Got the driver side patch made for my quarter louvers and working on the pillar.
started actually doing hammer and dolly work to get the kink out of the body line on the original passenger door and also picked up a new to me original drivers side door thats in great shape.
Magnificent, boogerschnot! I saw your Dec 10 post, but didn't get that chance to go thru the thread until just now. NICE car, nice repairs, nice work! The car looks great,...best of luck with completion.
Mine is just a coupe, but it survived twenty two years on the road before I bought it - and I commuted long-distance to work, all-year-round in N. Colorado, for five years before I got it off of the road. Came from a dealer, that still exists near Denver. Amazingly, it had less rust than yours', after all of that...and deserved my long thread. I was twelve when my car was built. Mustangs were my favorite musclecar, and '67 and '68 were the years I loved the most,...Never could afford much.
Wish I could offer any help, but it looks like you have this car WELL in hand!! I'll offer, in any case - I'm a backyard mechanic/Mustang historian, from way back!
Happy Holidays!
