Default HAD to change my oil Saturday, BECAUSE?

For the first time ever, did not pay attention to what I was putting into the
engine. NEVER EVER have I done this with any car, till now. As they
always say, first time for everything...

So, I bought some Lucas Gear oil, and some Lucas full synthetic oil additive. Both
bottles are the same, and look the same (see where I am going?)... Yeah, so I opened the
one bottle, started putting it in when the smell hit me... Only put in like a pint, and
did not start the motor.

So, I looked up what could happen, and everything I read wasn't good, to some people
saying it would be fine since it was not a lot. These were older posts, as it turns out
I was not the first person to do that by accident.... So, I decided to just change the oil...

To be sure I got it all out, I poured in some 5W40 I had left over from another oil change,
and waited till it all came out the oil plug hole, clean...

I can't believe I did that...

Oh, and while I was at it, I put LEDs in the front side markers and turn signals...

I changed to leds in the back of the car. I only had parking lights, no stop or turn rapid flash. Ordered some resistors that should fix it.

Walmart has the resisters...

I don't mind the rapid flash, as long as the lights work. I plan to get sequentials anyway.

I have sequential lights on mine and I wouldn't mind the rapid flash, if the lights would flash. No hazard flash, no brake light or turn signal. Should have the resistors in a couple days. Only parking lights.

Don't sweat the gear oil. It won't hurt anything.
My ex-son in law put a gallon of antifreeze in the crankcase of his Cadillac. He drove it a short way and realized what he had done. He called me in panic. I told him to drain it out, put in a new filter along with some cheapo oil, run it a little while and drain it out, change the filter, put in his regular oil. Never had any problems afterward.

I changed it anyway... Trying the 5W30 Synthetic Magatec. With a half a bottle of
Lucas Synthetic Oil Treatment:

This was what I put in...

Just wasn't paying attention... Did not put a lot in, at all, but I read on how the
gear oil can attack brass, and other metals in the engine. Where, you can run
your motor on gear oil, it would not last long.
