Default Cooled front seats

Our new Pony Car has heated and cooled front seats. I am curious just how much cool air others with this feature get out of the seats.

We also have a 2015 Edge Sport with the same feature. When in the cool setting, you get a lot of cooling from the seat bottom and the lumbar area. When I switched on that feature in the Mustang, I can tell there is some cooling but not much....certainly not to the level of the Edge.

It needs to go back to the dealer since I am not getting any AM radio reception and I may ask them to check the seat cool feature.

It's hard to quantify how cold, cold is. I have had the opportunity to use the cooled seats in my Mustang and found them adequate.

Last summer I rented a EB Mustang in Phoenix AZ, temp outside was about 120 degrees, and I must say having the cooled seats certainly helped.

I'm moving from NH to AZ at the end of this week, so I'll know if my seats are cool enough soon enough!

Do you have the A/C turned on for the floor? Maybe the cooled seats are simply fans that blow air through the seat.

^most are just fans blowing interior air. These seats only have bottom fans, not lumbar, I think.

Mine work well, but I seem to remember my F350 cooled a little better. Not sure why there would be a difference.

More room for a better system is my guess...

Mine get icy cold, but it's only the bottom, not the lumbar/back like with the heat. I'm hoping this is changed in the 2018 model.

My 2015 Mustang GT seats cool better than my Infiniti M37 seats.

I can only feel the bottom, so I'll have to try that and listen...
