A little about my 2006 V6 manual.

A little about my 2006 V6 manual.
I have had it about 6months now. Bought it for $7,000 with 102k miles on it. For the most part it is a clean car. The dealer i bought it from put a new clutch in it. It's some random name clutch but overall it's not bad, feels good, doesn't slip, just if you happen to burn it a little bit, it smells like sewage (weird i know). And had brand new falken azenis (i don't care to look up the proper name/spelling of the tire, but i have a feeling most of you people now exactly what tire it is) on it. It is a pony pakage, so it resembles the gt i wanted but didn't have the time for to wait on.
I have since spent $1k getting it into reliable order. I have had the hydraulic throw out bearing replaced because i have clutch chatter, pretty sure though its probably the pilot bearing. The trans had a hard time shifting sometimes, had the trans fluid changed, did an oil change. Chased a belt squeal, so I replaced the water pump, the tension pulley, and ultimately it was the harmonic balancer being pretty much completely destroyed. You should have seen the wobble in it. I had the rear main seal replaced...3 times. And i guess simultaneously flushed the cooling system since i replaced the water pump. Did a full brake job, but the lazy way so i didn't bleed the old brake fluid out.
And now i have also lowered it with the eibach sport something or other kit. 1.5in in the front, 2in in the rear. Which is also when i realized my shocks are totally blown in the front. The struts wouldn't return to full length once i pushed it in, let alone i was able to push it in with my hands. I didn't even need to use my brute strength to accomplish that. So i will get to the stuts later. Put a whiteline adjustable panhard bar on, an airraid cai, and just for kicks a steeda throttle body spacer. Surprisingly though the cai and spacer combo has gained me an extra 50 miles per tank. I used to get 210ish miles per 12.5ish gallons of 91 octane, now i get 260ish miles per the same amount of 91 octane. Oh and i guess i a classic style shift **** since the oe one kinda fell apart in my hand when i was maybe having some fun down in mexico.
Long read but whatevs, looking forward to this journey now that im a pony boy. 😏
