Default New Headers, yay hopefully...

I just got a pair of ceramic coated super competition headers for a great deal from Holley on ebay. 6116-1HKR They were a scratch and dent item, so I don't expect them to be perfect. I figured I would probably scrape up any nice coating during installation anyway, at least a little. These along with 99% of headers get mixed fitment reviews but I sure am hoping they fit nice. After watching the Engine Masters Challenge on header dinging, if a couple small dings were necessary I wouldn't even mind to be honest. This is hopefully one more big "check" off the list of things that I need to complete the 4 speed swap and exhaust that I plan on doing at the same time.

Hope it works out!

I am actually really happy with my purchase. No dents, and the scratches were what I would expect for a scratch and dent item. Assuming they are going to fit, I am happy.

From the following picture it looks like the ceramic coating is on the inside too?

Here is where things get strange. Both summit and the holley website (they own hooker) claim these have 5/16" thick flanges. I immediately thought these look thicker, and I was right. They are 3/8" thick... I can't imagine how Hooker has this wrong. The part # stamped is correct...

Photobucket is extremely unhappy. Quick google search shows that they updated their policies to require an upgraded account for 3rd party embedding

What a bummer! Shoot, what's the best option out there now? I really liked having all my photos in one place too.

What image hosting do people use? I just had failed attempts at getting some pictures up.

Not sure. Everyone used to use photobucket. This 3rd party posting restriction is new as of this month

I couldn't figure out if this can be embedded using imgur. So far I don't like imgur.
