V6 engine power loss
Ok I have 2002 v6 mustang. I have tried to to do a burn out in this car just for fun and it will spin just for a sec the stall out and a green light pops up on the dash with the tire on it. I have tried to turn off Trac control off and it still does the same thing. I am open to idea's.

Where's the RPM gauge when it stalls out?
There's two rev limiters on mustangs from 99 up (maybe from 95 up but I'm not certain about the older ones)
One is red line, the other is a free rev limiter around 3000 to 3500 RPM. The Free rev limiter is there to keep you from floating a valve by reving up your motor without a load (at idle and just reving your engine while in Neutra).
Considering you're a V6, you're most likely doing a one-wheel peel which may not be putting enough drag on the drive train to make the computer think you're actually doing anything but just idling and reving the motor.
