1995 GT--Will 245/50/16 Fit in Front?
Hello from Ohio! Hey, I searched all over and didn't see an answer so wanted to post. I've got a '95 GT convertible with 77K on it. A few quick questions:
1) I've got the stock 225s all around but need new tires and want to go with a 245/50/16 instead. No sweat on the rears, and I think should be no real problem on the fronts but if anyone can tell me I'd appreciate it. Are 245s a problem in the front? Staying with the 16s.
2) I want to have some work done on the car (new rear end, etc.). Anyone know of some good places in the central Ohio/Columbus area that I should check out?
Thanks, and I hope you're having a great day!

Assuming the stock tire size is 225/55/16, the tire you want is actually .1" smaller,
and .7" wider. It will fir just fine.
Use this:https://tiresize.com/calculator/ (tire comparison tab) to see the diffrences
it diameter, width, and circumference.

Thanks! That calculator is actually really helpful. I wanted a wider tire as I think it looks better, but I didn't realize it was a full inch shorter. I suppose I won't notice that difference, but if anyone reading this has experience with this kind of change please let me know.
Thanks again!
Thanks again!
