Default Ball joints instead of control arm replacement

I want to thank everyone who had replied to my previous question about control arms.
Now after considerable time reading and watching YouTube videos, I’ve changed my mind about this subject. I am going to keep the Ford control arms and press in new ball joints.
Ive found NOS TRW ball joints on eBay. TRW 104226 is the part number. Looks like they are not the new Taiwan TRW, but either USA or Mexican. Would there be anything that I should be concerned about buying New Old Stock ball joints?

go to parts store, get moog or equivalent parts, borrow a ball joint press, and be cautious about the spring tension on the control arm

Default TRW arrived!

Today I was surprised when my pair of TRW ball joints arrived a day earlier than expected. Was very pleased to see the Made In The USA printed on the box, even more pleased when I opened the boxes. They are maintenance free sealed with a clear boot and the green metal tie around the the boot

. They are OE manufactured ball joints. As I’ve previously stated, I have gotten over 128,000 out of original sealed ball joints. To top it off, I won these on eBay for $24 shipped! I doubt you could find many Chinese ball joints for that price.

Nice find! I hope that you don't end up needing oversized joints.
