Default Continental tires

Hay fellow Mustang owners. Is anyone out there using the Continental Sportcontact 6 tires on the rear of their stang. I am considering replacing my Michelin Pilot Super Sports, 285/40R19, 10" rim, with a pair of these tires, Continental Sportcontact 6, in 295/35ZR19, 11" rim. I just want direct information about these "specific" Continentals, and how they get traction at a red light. I am not concerned about cost, or wear, just straight line performance. These shoes will adorn my 2014 GT Premium.

Everything I have seen about them, rate good except rolling resistance. They
replaced the Sportcontact 5s. Over the 5s, these were +10% in high speed stability,
+14 percent in steering precision, +11 percent in dry road handling, +4 percent in
racetrack grip, and +2 percent in wet grip. Importantly for the higher mileage driver,
wear rate and comfort are both up by around 7 percent.

They're saying they're using a new cap material called Aralon350, a synthetic fiber
which is their claim for speed stability for up to 220MPH, and then their "Black Chili"
high grip compound for handling.

Definitely better than the Michelin,,,,

08'Mustang Dude, thanks for the reply. Great information concerning the quality aspects of the Continental. I think I will try that Continental SportContact 6, 295/35ZR19, on a Trueforge 11" rim. If it performs better than my present Michelin Pilot Super Sports, 285/40R19,on a 10" rim, I will be very happy. So far, I am really impressed with the Michelin's, but am always looking for something better.
