Default P0022 - 2006 Mustang GT

So my brother was driving back home after getting out of work, on the way he felt the car idle rough in which he woke me up at 330 am to scan his car. I came across with the P0022 code in which to my research is that the VCT solenoid must of gone bad, the code is in bank #2. Can anyone here tell me where is that located? I read that it is a 10 minute job if done right, can I use an after market solenoid if so what brand would be best? Also is the gasket required? I would appreciate any of your help and diagrams you can provide so I can do this job for him. He is currently going to college and want him to save money.

Yup, bank 2 is the driver's side. Pull the cam position actuator solenoid and inspect it. If it's clogged, merely cleaning it might solve the problem as they often stick if the engine oil isn't changed frequently enough.

Thank you for moving this to the right place, but holy cow, I just noticed the original post date... What subforum was this thread hiding in, that it took so long for anyone to notice and respond to his question? LOL, poor guy
