Default I want to swap a Japanese engine either 2JZ or SR20

Like the title say I've seen a YouTube video showing a guy has a swap 2JZ in his Stang. I'm wondering is there a kit out there where I can do it myself. The SR20DE I'll figure it out when I get the information to swap the 2JZ.

There is a 1965, and a 1968 Mustang with the swap, nothing shows the build
process.

Ford has a DOHC turbocharged straight 6, you just can't get them here.

There is a dude selling BARRA motors at the V6 forums, $2000. Apparently he
imported 6 of them, and is keeping two, sold two that know off.

Why would you want to do that to a Mustang?

From a purely technical aspect, why not? From a sentimental aspect, tons of reasons.

#1, It is his car, yeah, it is...
#2, The motor he wants in it is much more reliable than anything Ford has domestically.
#3, Unique!

I would love to put a BARRA 4.0 I6 motor in mine, I would be one of only six thus far.
Even the Gen1s put out 244HP, Gen2, 255, and the Gen3 at 261. Here we are, a
4.0 V6 at 210. The turbo ones start at 322, to 436HP. If the Coyote engine was a
V12, the BARRA motor would be one bank, they're big...

****, I would even put a Chrysler 3.5 HO or 3.6 Pentastar in mine if I could. I like my V6
and all, keeps me out of trouble (I have a turbo car running +6 boost for that), but 210
HP from a 4.0, when everyone else is getting more from 3.5s? Kinda disappointing.

How about a Hellcat motor in a Mustang! There ya go...

It never ceases to amaze me how people get damaged over what someone ELSE does to their
own car... If I wanted to put **** on my car, so what? It's not your car, and no you can't squeez
them... Heh heh....

Well I have plans to do a kit car out of the Stang. It's a good platform to do it on since it's RWD all the scene now is drifting. Nowadays, people are dropping K-series engine from a Honda to Scion FRS/Toyota GT86, Subaru, Nissan 240SX, Mazda Miata, the list just goes on and on. I'm in the tuning car's to kit car's business. So I don't want to hear people why doing that to a poor Stang. Reason being there is no more Pontiac Fiero or Toyota MR2. Both of those car's price gone up a quite bit. There are manufacturing that produce kit car's for Toyota Supra and Mazda RX-7. But both of those car's range in $50k to $120k. Prices like a bloody supercar.

I'm thinking of doing kit car on a Nissan 240SX but the price skyrocketed after drifting came out. Since there are people don't have money to buy a Nissan 240SX so they steer to Mazda Miata. Can't find those Toyota Cressida no more everything went up on it. You can forget trying to get a Toyota Corolla that is front engine RWD. Well the car enthusiast call them AE86 and those thing ran up over $5k. I remember this junk yard shop called Jay's Wrecking sold a strip out Toyota Corolla for $2,000, he said it was completely strip nothing on it.

I came across this YouTube channel saying it so hard to find a decent price on these Japanese import front engine RWD car's that the only way to get into the game is to modify a domestic car or suv. I love my dad 1989 Ford Thunderbird but my little brother crash the car and who the person to fix the car it was me. I found out why it was expensive to fix. Had to replace the entire brake system. My dad loves domestic car and that's how I got into it when I was little. When it was time for my parents to give me a birthday present. I really wanted a Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo but my parents couldn't afford it so I got a Acura Integra instead.

My bestfriend introduce me to drifting and love it ever since. We was the only one drifting back in 1997. But anyways enough with my child hood history. I want to know if someone out there has a kit made for me to drop in a 2JZ-GE/GTE engine into the Stang.

I never understood the want/need to put a different motor in a different car. Example: Ford Car/Chevy Motor or Chevy Car/Ford Motor. Call me old fashion!

It's a hobby/passion so, enjoy.

Swapping motors can be a challenge like a 5,000 piece jigsaw puzzle and when you get it right, it feels damn good!
