Default tranmission noises

hey guys i have a question that concerns the tr3650 5 speed

when i press the clutch in im hearing alot of different noises scraping scratching squeaking and when i let off it goes away, if im driving and press it in to shift it groans loudly like a power steering whine and when you release it, it stops. my question is would it be a throw out bearing or pilot bearing? or input shaft? when you let off the clutch it pull out it chatters badly it feels and sounds like a machine gun under your feet!! it gets worse the longer you drive it.

How many miles on the existing clutch? You definitely need a throw-out bearing but, depending on the age, you will want a whole new clutch kit anyways.

The chatter is the either the clutch disc springs worn/broken and/or the clutch plate springs worn/broken. There's an inspection plate under the bell housing held on by a screw/bolt, remove it and take a look at the condition of everything. If you replace one part, may as well replace them all, Throwout bearing, pilot bearing, disc, and plate.

214K on a factory clutch is a pretty good run. Time for some new stuff.
