Default 2005 driver seat bottom pad

My driver's seat bottom pad is worn. I can find lots of options for a new seat cover, but when I look up the foam pad, the pad is available for the manual seat, but the pad for the power seat is discontinued. Does anyone know if the manual pad would fit my car with the power seat? Thanks.

My car is the same, your message is discouraging, my seat is still in good enough condition that I have never worried about that issue.

Check with a couple of the upholstery shops in your area, no reason they can't do it, just cart the seat into them. Ask for some quality re-do and get the whole thing done.

Gregory,
I'd rather do it myself if I can. I don't want to spend a whole lot on the car as it has a ton of miles on it. But... it's in nice shape outside and really just a seat and steering wheel away from having a very nice interior. I found a replacement wheel pretty inexpensively, and hope to have that soon. I plan to fix the seat as a winter project (this car will be parked for winter).

I believe the only difference between the manual and power seat foam is that the power seat pad has an extra hole in the side for the power switch. If you had to I don't see why it couldn't easily be modified.

I have a power driver's seat. Several years ago I took the stock leather seat covers off and put on the Roush seat covers. The driver's seat used new foam for the seat back, but you used the stock cushion for the seat bottom. All the controls for the power seat are located under the metal seat frame, so I believe the seat cushion itself would be the same for the manual and power seat.

Ok it sounds like the manual seat vfoam should work. The existing foam is shredded so it has to be replaced.
