I have a base model V6 Mustang 1997.
Will the brakes from other models work?
Are they the same?
thank you for taking the time to read .

Yes the '93-'97 Thunderbird & Cougar use the same front calipers. But the rear ones are Mustang-specific.

So the calipers from a 5.0 or a cobra will fit a base?

thats what I’m asking. This extra information is good too.

Oh. Yeah, GT & V6 trims shared the same brakes, but Cobra calipers will need Cobra hoses & rotors. All trims had the same rear calipers, but the Cobra ones had different rotors and caliper brackets.
