Rear wheel bearing R/R tutorial/tips?
Hi everyone - I'm eager to get my '02 back on the road but it needs new rear wheel bearings. I searched this forum but couldn't find any really detailed info. Can't wait to make 'er my daily driver (first time since I've owned), if anyone can help that would be awesome!

There are some videos on YouTube that can walk you through the process better than I can, but I do want to point out a few things that you will need to be prepared for before you get started.
Since you will be removing the diff cover to unclip the axleshafts, you will need a new gasket and/or gasket-maker for reassembly. You may also want to have some fresh gear oil on hand to fill it back up instead of putting the old stuff back in. If the wheel bearings are the only bearings you'll be changing while it's open, you will need a slide hammer to remove them, and a driving tool of some sort to install the new ones. Don't forget to remove wheel speed sensors before pushing in the axleshafts to unclip them. Of course you'll want new axleshaft seals, too.
