Unhappy Damage to Hood DIY cheap fix?

Someone in a truck backed into me and damaged my hood and headlight. I can replace the headlight for cheap, but wondering if ya'll have some good ways to fix the hood cheaply instead of replacing it. It is an older hood which is why it looks like it crumpled instead of just bending? I was thinking of putting a thin plastic molding over it and then plastidipping some emblem or design there to cover up the repair? Thoughts?

The hoods are aluminum, you can't work with them without heat, and that looks
like it even cracked. Hoods for those years are all over the place, so I would just
get another one. From that picture, it almost looks like fiberglass...

Thanks man! You are right it is fiberglass I did not realize that, finding that out will definitely help me find a way to fix it or just look around for a decent one.
