Default Transplanting!!!!!

I transplanted a 3.8 from a 1998 mustang into a classic truck I'm building. Im using everything from the car, wiring, steering, engine, trans. New fuel lines, new tank, new pump, filter. The pump is direct wired on a switch bypassing the relay, as well as the ignition which is push button, direct wired. it starts with starting fluid and runs for a few second, and can even rev the engine, then it dies. Any thoughts?

I'm thinking maybe give it a bit of air until it can run on it's own. Air control valve dirty or in wrong spot.
