Default Help with TPMS for my 2018

I bought a set of tire, wheels, tpms, and a learn tool. I plan to run summer wheels and winter wheels. I cannot get the sensors trained. This is my second set of sensors. I thought the first set was faulty so I returned them. It says online that they do not need to be programmed. Just trained to the car. The sensors are the correct part number and I am positive my learn tool is good but they will not train to the car. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Forgive what may be a silly question, but have you tried just driving the car above 20 mph for more than 20 minutes straight? I thought the car should self-train in that mode, unless that's for 2019s only.

I have not tried that. I was trying to ensure everything was good before I paid to mount balance and install everything then find out I had an issue. Hopefully someone will chime in with info about the training process.

I don't think you can have more than 4 TPMS sensors trained at any given time so, unless you've removed your other tires from the car and put them far enough away so your car can't "see" them, you won't be able to train new ones. Also, I'm not even sure they will be read correctly unless they are installed on the tire.
