Guys, I am new to the forum -- this is post number one -- but I am a long time Ford guy. I have a 1967 Shelby, a 2005 Ford GT, a 1969 Boss 429 and a 1978 King Cobra. I just bought the King Cobra a few weeks ago and it is a survivor car in excellent condition. I have always liked these cars from high school and, as you know, Mustang II's are as scarce as Hen's teeth.
If any of you are in the Houston area come to Cars & Coffee at Memorial City and I will have the car there the first week in June.
The year before I turned 16, Ford stopped building real Mustangs and gave the name to an illegitimate spawn of hell half-breed with the Pinto. Shame! Shame!
NIce collection of Mustangs. Not a big fan of Mustang II's but that's a nice car.

I saw a video on Youtube about Houston Cars & Coffee and I saw briefly a car like your 78. Was that you?
You are right. That was my car. It got a lot of attention. It was amazing how many people said "I have not seen one of these in years" or "I did not know that Ford even made a King Cobra".
