I need help determining if a car i am possibly going to purchase is a real roush car. Vin number is 1ZVFT82H075261934. Car has roush exhaust, body components and is said to have roush intake. Its a 2007 Mustang GT, thank you for any help you can provide. Im a Georgia resident and car is a Florida car

I believe ever car that goes through Roush has a plate under the hood with the Roush serial number on it.

Roush web site is down but you can call them at 800-59-ROUSH. Give them your VIN number and they will check. I bet it isn't a real Roush If you don't have the plate JimC says it should have....

If you google the VIN and view the 'cached' site this is what comes up:

That is NOT a genuine Roush. That is a base (not premium) GT with Roush body kit. There's no Dash plaque and no serialized engine plate.

it also has a stock non Roush OEM intake.

In other words, don't pay extra for the Roush bits. not worth it.

That looks a lot like my friend's Roush -- Outlaw edition, including under the hood. But an automatic is rare on a Roush of that era, and the lack of a Roush plate in the engine bay suggests that it is a GT with a Roush body kit.
