Default 2006 V6 starting problems

Just got a mustang. I bought it from my uncle. it is a 2006 ford mustang v6 auto transmission. He put it into a small ditch and drove it home went out the next morning and it would not start. He went threw all the fuses and replaced them all and still no start. Thats when he gave it to me. I checked for spark, receiving spark and I heard the fuel pump turn on. He said the fuel gauge worked but I put 5 gallons in it and is still had reading. The engine turns over but it will not fire up.... the engine light on the dash turns on then flashes. also it has a low oil, parking break light on which the parking break is not on, and a efi fuel error. I trailered it down to O'reillys and they checked it for codes and nothing showed up... So I took it to the ford house right down the street and they wanted $140 to just see if it was throwing any codes. I did not do that because it should still start even if its a bad pcm right??? Any help would be great!

The dash lights are sometimes due to a bad battery. Are you sure the battery is good?

When you turn the key are you saying that is when the CEL flashes, or is it the anti-theft light that flashes?

Well I am charging the battery over night and going to see what it does in the morning.. When I turn the key the CEL stays on but ones I try to start it it starts to flash. The car is stuck in park you have to use the key to manually put it into nutrual. Not sure if that's part of what happened when it was put in the ditch.

Don’t know if this helps but try pressing the fuel reset button tucked in the driver foot panel

Three years on he's either fixed the problem or pushed the car over a cliff.
