Unhappy Motor bogs down, help?

This is a weird one.
If my RPM is high, around 5k, and shift from 2nd to 3rd or 3rd to 4th and floor it instead of it taking off like it should, it just bogs down and I have to let off and give it less gas.
Ive done a tune up on it and just put a new exhaust system in it but didn't put the o2 sensors back in.(getting those put in monday). Before i got the new exhaust system it still had the same problem so not sure if the lack of an 02 sensor is the problem.
Also new fuel pump 5k miles ago.
Any ideas on what it could be would be great. im sure theres someone out there thats had the same problem.

So got them put on, all 4 brand new, and still does the same thing except maybe worse now. What else could this be?

have you replaced your tps yet? you can test it with a multimeter your self test info

also make sure you dont have a vacuum leak any where, plus clean your maf if you havent already, disable your traction control also see if this helps

I'll try each of those suggestions, I'm certain no vacuum leaks though

Have you figured out what the problem was?

Good to hear! I’m going to be purchasing an 02 GT with a similar issue. So I’m trying to gather as much info as I can. How did you go about fixing the traction control? Did the button not turn it off? Was it a wiring issue?
