Alabama here. I live in Choctaw county, my fiance lives in Auburn, and we are moving to Warrior, just north of Birmingham. Any classic Mustang clubs in the Warrior, Gardendale, Birmingham area?

I am moving huntsville area in the 1st week of aug. getting outta the military and moving with the wife back to her area. I am trying to find some people to chill with now that i wont hardly know anyone down there. Hopefully i can find a club or something so it wont be so bad down there,lol

Are you going to the 30th Anniversay Mustang Stampede in Birmingham over the Labor Day week-end? It should be a real bash. My wife and I have hotel reservations at the La Quinta Inn at 513 Cahaba Park Circle in Birmingham. Do you know the area around there. The hotel had a good rate. I got a good rate at a hotel in Nashville for a Bob Dylan concert. When we got there I asked a cop where it was and he said it was full of drug dealers and hookers and we didn't want to stay there. Wound up paying $175 per day at another place. We are in Kentucky so it is over 300 miles to Birmingham.

I'm from Athens, Al. Don't know Birm area, but Barber Motorsports Park is really nice. We attend the Rolex races. Beautiful track and surroundings. Its a "park" with a track in the middle. If you follow NASCAR it is the "anti-Daga" ie, few drunken rednecks, nice crowd. Easy to find and easy to get out when you want. have fun.
