Default 1984 Mustang CFI to Carb

Two questions. The first one is simple, I bought a 1984 mustang gt that was originally CFI now converted to Carb. I would like to supercharge or turbocharge this motor? Can I turn this car into a turbo car? Secondly, the car puffs some white smoke out of the breathers in the valve covers. Worse yet I pulled the dipstick out and it's a small amount of smoke comes from there. I started the car again today and it's not as bad as it was....Could this be bad rings? OR could this have to do with the emissions stuff that is on this car due to the CFI. Is there something I should know about the emissions on this car now being a carb car?
