You should get the tuning kit that is around $35 at summit I think. My eddy runs great so don't worry about what everyone else is saying in here lol. I will check my tuning manual here later after I get back from work and let you know more.

fyi, timing set correct, plugs good, and no vacc. leaks and all the ports on the carb that aren't used capped off????????????????????????

Out of the box a 600 runs rich on a 306 with stock heads. I had to make mine 2 stages lean to get it to burn right.
