Question need speed density adapter for CAI

hey wondering if anyone had a speed density adapter they didn't need for a bbk CAI or if anyone knows where to get one for under $45. just got a bbk CAI and arent going to do a MAF conversion now. i also heard that you can cut your old tubing to use, wondering if that actually works?

correct. there is no speed density on the actual tubing, but when buying most bbk CAI they come with a space between the two tubes for a MAF. it costs an extra 45-50 bucks to get a small aluminum piece that goes from the large bore tubing to the smaller bore tubing. so i wanna pay less than 45-50 to stay with speed density, and don't know if i can custom make a piece out of the old stock air tubing. . .http://www.bbkperformance.com/produc...ke-system.html

correct thats what i need, i was wondering if anyone had one lying around for some reason and didn't need it and would let it go for less than $45-50. or if anyone knows whether or not fabricating one out of old tubing would work?
