Cost to rebuild carb?

I talked the guy down to 250. Thats still high but I had to get it done quick it had a horrible gas leak and i dont have time to mess with it myself. Now the frickin car is slippin hard and Im pissed that these a holes fuct with it. Read my new post.

You're getting robbed blind dude. It takes all of about 1 hour to do with hand tools, and paying someone it shouldn't cost more than $80 in an area with high labor rates.

Buy the kit, do it yourself, it takes no time at all. It sounds like this guy is trying to take advantage of your desperation to get it done now.

Default More to it then just a rebuild.

For that price I'm sure you get a professional rebuild plus they are gonna put it on the automobile and adjust it. I do when I rebuild them.
