I have a factory alum ( 1982 marked casting ) boss 302 4 bbl manifold. I want to put a Holly 4160 w/manual choke on it. My confusion arises when I try to figure out which adaptor block to use. There is a lot of opinions on the net so I thought I would throw this out to the ford pros and see what you guys have to say.

The Boss 302 intake was only produced from 1969 to 1970. Iy looks like you have a smog 4 barrel intake from a 5.0 liter Mustang. I would think that is a low carb pad dual plane intake so a square bore 4 hole spacer or a square bore open spacer may be the ticket to experiment with.

82 would be 2 barrel, not until 83 was there a 4 barrel casting
