'90 SD 302
 

I was recently given a 1990 302 Bronco. I'm in the process of "restoring" it for lack of a better word. One thing I want to remedy is the engine output. I have access to a set of '96 302 Explorer cylinder heads. Can I swap these on without issue or is there more to it?

I dont really see it being worth the time! thats alot of work for 1rwhp!

I was eventually looking to go MAF and swap on the Explorer's Intake and then throw in a e303. Yes I know there are more effective combos out there, but I'm not looking to make this thing a beast, just give it a little more ... oompf, if you will. I'll save the real extensive mods for my Cobra. This Bronco is just going to be my winter driver, so I'm not looking to go overboard.

OP, the heads wont make a huge difference in the control of the engine. If you were to change your cam, that's where you would start to have problems. So, with that said, swap the heads... and prepare for a MAF conversion when/if you decide to do a new cam.

ok simplified answer yes you can do it! is it worth it in my opinion no!

Its like going from an e7 to a set of gt`s unless its all you have or you didnt invest any money into them its not worth it! but everyone has there own opinions,
