Default 351w aod swap

i have a 85 gt aod cfi car. I have a 351w out of a 88 bronco with cfi intake. would the cfi work with the 351w with a cam upgrade?. trying to keep it looking original you non a sleeper. Has anyone done this ? what kind of results did you get ?

I run a 93 AOD with my 69 351.. I love it! You will probably want to get some better matched gears in the rear end though. The AOD has the same gear set ratio as the old FMX trans. plus the overdrive. You may want to repost this in the Fox Body section, an 85 isnt considered a classic just yet.

cfi is the throttle body efi used on fords before they went to the sefi with an injector on each port etc....



also gonna move this to the 5.0 section since the 85 doesnt really fit in the "classic section" even though its an antique foxbody
