none of your current combination of parts will work well together/ produce decent power, if heads are stock and don't have valve springs to match cam, then rpm potential won't be reached, ect ect........

Just do the 306 rebuild and reuse any undamages or wornout parts! the .030 with the 3in stroke gets you 306cuin, you wont need anything other than what you have unless you want to gain more power than the old setup!
Take the heads and have them milled and do a 3 angle vlv job new springs with some gasket matching porting which you can do at home. freshend up you would be happy with the results until the bug hits you!

Alright so i give you my engine and it comes back a basically brandnew 306 ready to drop back in and start right?
