Hi everyone I'm new to the site. I have a couple of questions I was hoping somebody could help with. I have a 1986 mustang lx 5.0 auto love the car but have been laid up for the last 10+ years. I would love to restore it does anyone have any idea what it could run to change out the whole inside of the car seats, dash, rugs,. Had to move it 4 years ago and put a battery in it and it started right up. I Know tire have flat spots and paint is in real ruff shape. I know it’s hard but could anyone give any ideas of costs and where to start. Or know anyone that could give it a good home. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would start with a tune up such as oil an filter, plugs, plug wires, distributor cap, trans flush, fuel filter, air filter, belt, and tires then start the interior, then do the paint/ body work last. No sense in a pretty lawn ornament. Thats just the direcction i would go without seeing the car. Good luck with th car
