Default keep stang or go harley?

Been looking for a harley forever... guy emailes me lastnight from craigslist looking to trade his harley for the stang...its a 1990spring harley 1200sportster. It has aftermarket seat sissy bar new tires black and chrome rims extended fork s&s carb cam drag pypes custo. Candy apple red paint n said its super loud. Only problem is small skuff on gas tank and tmu...

I checked comps online and bike is worth $3500 to $5000 but with tmu miles....idk. looks nice.

Told him to text me fri and see bout setting something up sat... basically he is married n getting devorsed and wife is taking house n truck so he is left with bike only. Needs a car wants a muscle car...

Idk if i should take it or not... i have the company truck now. But if something happened to that id have to buy a car quick to fall back on. Wich i have been saving for...either a jetta tdi or a powerstroke... idk. What yall think.

Keep the stang and save up and buy a harley and have the best of both worlds. Thats what I did.

You can pick up a 2000 something sportster for 3500. I think 90's are only going to be 4spd. The 5spd isn't even enough in my opinion. Rigid mount motor vibrates pretty good. 04+ is going to be your rubber mount which is a smoother ride. I'd keep the car, save up, and get something newer.

Knocking on wood you would be putting yourself basically in his position if you traded and something happened to your company vehicle. Also, does "company truck" mean you have complete access? I ask because I have a company truck and wouldnt use it for personal without specific permission.
